Role out the barrels
South Kintyre Development Trust is brightening up the town centre this year with floral displays.
The whisky barrels have been kindly donated by Glen Scotia Distillery, halved and filled by the Community Payback Team and then planted up by our wonderful group of volunteers turning them into a floral feast for shoppers and visitors.
SKDT works in partnership to deliver initiatives that revitalise our communities, increasing confidence and ensuring that the community are at the heart of the regeneration of their areas. Special thanks go to Argyll & Bute Council Adult Learning and Zero Waste Heros South Kintyre.
