Lighthouse Competition Winners

Dalintober P1 & P 2/1 have been reading "The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch ". They had to make a model lighthouse with items which they had to collect themselves, including, Pringles tubes, stones and driftwood.

Zena Coffield, SKDT Trust Manager was invited to judge the competition.

Each of the 8 winners received a "Lighthouse Keeper" book and now has their model displayed in ZENA’S shop window in Longrow, Campbeltown.

Zena said “all of the lighthouses were clearly different and there were some great designs. The pupils who took part should be very proud of themselves; they had obviously put a tremendous amount of effort into their models.”
